hier die Anleitung auf Englisch ;o) :
Programming the MagicModule (e.g. HUMAX IRCI - 5400)
with loaded Gamma/Tetra/PentaCrypt
1.
If your MagicModule has no loaded Soft
like Gamma/Tetra/PentaCrypt,
then reset the module 3 times.
This is depending on the receiver.
There are 2 ways:
1st way: put the receiver on/off
2nd way: reset the cam only
GOTO STEP 3
2.
If you want to update your PentaCrypt
goto the CAM/CI menu of your receiver,
Select "Prepare for loading" and
"YES - activate loader"
Now the CI menu should show "DREAM LOAD"
3.
connect the serial cable between PC
and mm Programmer
(not a null-modem cable -> use 1:1)
then
Insert mm Programmer into the mm.
(Components and contacts upwards)
4.
The green LED on the mm Programmer
should light.
If not, check COM port and cable.
5.
Start mm Loader Software.
Select "Settings..."
and choose the COM port.
Click on "Connect".
The text "CONNECTED" should appear.
If not, try again.
6.
Click on "Program module..." and
choose the firmware ( .mdf file )
RED and GREEN shine
7.
Programming module,
then finished only GREEN LED shines
Close MagicLoader
Pull Out mm Programmer from mm
8.
restart Receiver
and check if new soft is loaded
(announcement: Slot 1. ?????Crypt ?.??)
INSERT your paytv card
Have Fun
tip's / known problems :
deleting firmware
Insert the mm without a card into the receiver and select the module via the CI menu.
Select "Prepare for loading" and "YES - activate loader"
Now the CI menu should show "DREAM LOAD"
In order to bring the module back into the Upload mode, it must get three times a RESET without map.
(receiver on out on out on out on - or 3 times CAM-reset)

· HUMAX VACI-5300 - did not get the Programmer operating voltage ( Use lower CI Input )
· HUMAX 5600 with 5100 firmware - did not get the Programmer operating voltage ( Use lower CI Input )
· TECHNIBOX ( Use upper CI Input )
